The sixth batch of 45 small livestock farmers from eight states (Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi) was trained under the aegis of Agri Business Incubator Center at Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar and KED Foundation, Udaipur. – Training program on goat and rabbit farming was organized by KED Foundation from 21st to 27th December, 2023. Five-day training was organized in Udaipur and two-day training was organized in Avikanagar. The concluding program was presided over by Dr. Ganesh ji. Sonawane Chairman, while addressing all the trainees conducted by the Animal Health Department, said that the purpose of this training is to increase your knowledge of sheep-goat rearing and rearing management in a scientific manner. Because at present, only sheep-goat rearing business can be done in a scientific manner. Livelihood can be increased by doing this. Therefore, you can gradually develop your sheep-goat rearing business as animal husbandry entrepreneurship, economically empowering your family and also providing employment to people. The scientists present in the program will educate the farmers. While answering the questions and answers of all types of sheep-goat rearing, full support of the institute was promised in future also.
